- They are adorable, first of all. But also, I have heard about how smart and trainable doodles are, which will be helpful in my hopes of pursuing being a pet therapy team!

I found your page in the double doodle group, and I think I've looked at just about every picture of Ember... so stinkin' cute! I noticed you are also in the Seattle area. Did you find her from a nearby breeder? I am bringing home a red doodle in just a few weeks. The puppies were born just last weekend. I hope my pup is just as adorable as yours =). Julie, Boomer & Milo said… We missed the romp because I took Milo to the groomer instead. The had a cancellation and were able to work him in!! Ember looks adorable with her new cut. I love the shaggy look but I tend to keep both my dogs cut short...its more manageable for me. Milo HATES to be brushed. Michelle would love to see this picture of Ember. Merry Christmas to you both!

Ember's Big Day

Well, what a day for little Ember!
Ember is now nearly 6 months (on Christmas Eve!) and is growing, growing, growing. She's about 32lbs and is just the happiest, sweetest, loveliest puppy I have ever met (yes, I suppose I am biased). She graduated from Puppy II last week and is a master at basic commands of 'sit' and 'down', and is about 95% on coming when called now. She also can 'gimme five' to the delight of everyone who meets her.

Week Two with Ember

Wow, she sure settled in quickly. Ember is an absolute delight to me and everyone who meets her (and she knows it!).
After our first week with some weird digestion issues, all has cleared up and she is happy as can be. All looks good at the vet and she also got her 2nd set of shots. She was such a trooper while I managed to contain my anxiety at the sight of the needles.
