- We brought Axel home on Monday, July 2, on his 8-week birthday. His daddy is an English cream golden retreiver dad and momma is a gorgeous white standard poodle. We are SO HAPPY to have our baby home.

I noticed that in one of your pictures you said that Axel destroyed your hydrangeas. We have a few hydrangeas that I absolutely love. Any recommendations so that Sofie doesn't destroy ours as well? ;)

We got her from a breeder in Ohio. We couldn't find a mini golden breeder in Illinois. We have a 5 hour drive (the breeder is meeting us or it would be 6 hours) each way!

OMG - the bead head picture is way too cute. We are hoping she looks like Axel full grown. We thought the same thing about the boxy head - the others in the litter had more dainty features - but we liked the boxy head thinking it was more like a retriever. We are literally counting down the days until we get her!

WOW 49lbs @ 19 weeks, Axel is a big boy ! Sorry to hear he had to have surgery, hope it wasn't something serious.
Finnley will be getting spayed at the end of Oct. Her vet wanted to wait until 6 months.
Keep posting those cute pictures of Axel. He is georgous !

I love large doodles. Monty is 83 lbs and certainly outgrew both of his parents. I also was drawn to the white teddy bear like doodles so that's why we went with an English Goldendoodle. A word of caution, though: it's a full time job to keep them white, LOL. Well, it's not that bad, but every dirt just shows on their white coat. So we are constantly washing paws and I already gave up keeping the chin white. Monty is from a local breeder here in CO, Pam was the only breeder with English Goldendoodles here. So I was happy we don't have to have the puppy shipped. www.pambriellagoldendoodles.com
Monty's half sister will be from the same breeder. And yes, Monty just passed his therapy dog evaluations, but we have not started the hospital visits just yet. We can talk privately via email once your puppy arrives.
