I keep seeing pictures of DK-ers' two doodles snuggling and it's just breaking my heart since my two never snuggled together. Then I tried to rationalized with the fact that most of the snuggling…Continue
Finally it worked out and Monty got to meet his real brother Rufus for the first time. Rufus lives on the "the other side of the mountains" so we have not had a chance to get together before.Did the…Continue
I had my first teary moment since we started hospital visits with Monty last October. We went in with Monty as scheduled last Sunday and after I checked in on our floor a nurse hands me an envelope…Continue
When we bought our house in 2009, we did not have a dog on our minds. We live in the north suburbs of Denver so all the city houses have really small backyards, which was not an issue for us. We…Continue
Guess who is 1 year old on Wednesday! Can you believe it? It seems like yesterday that I was complaining about the 10 week old puppy and suddenly he is 1!
Auggie is such a happy boy! And a good boy as well. Very patient, very soft with his mouth. Loves to play a lot; he will be one of those eternal puppies. I've discovered that Auggie loves water so my next task is to take him swimming.

Auggie still loves to terrorize his older brother Monty and to destroy the backyard. But, he has grown into a very sweet puppy (you can tell this especially when he is separated from his brother). Being used…Continue
