Noah the Nosey Bear

We were out in the backyard and Noah was near the ivy. He started barking and got in the low crouch position when he wants to investigate, but is unsure what to do. I finally went over there after a minute, and there was a 2 ft snake! I tried to catch it with a stick to chuck it into the woods, but it slithered deep into the ivy. The dogs still wouldn't leave the ivy patch so I went back over. I saw a very stunned and slobbered frog. It had yellow goo all over…

Noah had his first visit to the Early Learning Center this morning. He will be working with a pre-school class (ages 3-4). The kids were very excited to see him. They used to have a golden retriever named Biscuit visit with them, but Biscuit doesn't like car rides anymore because he's pretty old. Continue

I'm very excited to announce that Noah and I have received approval to visit the University of Delaware's Early Learning Center. We have our first visit on Tuesday morning and will be visiting a pre-school room. I'm not entirely sure what we will be doing, but I found this article on the web about a previous PAWS team. I brought Noah to the park and as expected, there were several young toddlers and children out. Noah loves kids so he went around to greet every child. He was paying a lot of attention to a very young toddler and a great dane came over and was jumping around and then stood over Noah and the child. For the first time in Noah's life, he growled and snapped at a dog and ran off the great dane. Normally if a dog stood over Noah, Noah would flop over on his back. Today at the park Noah was enjoying swimming and fetching after his stick. As he was about to grab his stick, a german shepherd swooped in and stole it from him! Noah looked really sad. Sherlock saw what happened and ran over to the edge of the pond and started barking at the shepherd and wouldn't let her get out of the water. She turned to run along the edge to find another escape and Sherlock jumped down along the water's edge and chased her. It was pretty funny to see my 11lb white fluffy… Continue
