I am a professional writer/editor & graphic designer with a background in publishing and non-profit development. I also work as a professional singer and voice-over artist.

I am the founder and Executive Director of Doodle Rescue Collective, Inc. A national non-profit animal welfare organization that rescues Labradoodles and Goldendoodles.

Blake-3 year old, F1B Labradoodle rescued from a PA puppy mill in 2007 ..He's a medium/mini ( 42 lbs.) and he has amazing coloring...Rose pigment and gorgeous human-like aqua green eyes. Named for William Blake-poet, painter and one of my all time favorites. He is an Almost Heaven Kennel survivor...

Bella - 3 year old, cafe au lait miniature ALD (30 lbs.) originally came from Rutland Manor and was flown to TN from Australia as a 10 week old puppy. She was surrendered to DRC because her original owner was terminally ill and could no longer take care of her.

Rescue, Rehome

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I grew up with Labs and developed an allergy to the double coat in my twenties. A non-shedding Labradoodle is the perfect dog for me.......

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Snuggle...swim...romp...CAUSE TROUBLE!...lol

Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

Olivia's Dog Parlor in Upper Montclair- FINALLY! A groomer who knows how to clip a Doodle and not make them look like a Bichon or Poodle!
