Profile Information

About Me:
I have been breeding Labradoodles and Goldendoodles since 2004 and I am still amazed at the wonderful dogs we help to create!
Since we began our breeding program to donate dogs to service and guide dog organizations, we have had puppies accepted into the programs at the Guide Dogs of America, the Guide Dogs of the Desert, Pawsitive Teams, and many individuals who have trained our pups as personal service dogs.
We have a proud legacy of mellow tempered dogs with intelligence, curiosity and excellent health.
Because of our devotion to this endeavor, we have incorporated as a non-proft, 501 (c) (3), to provide service dogs to qualified individuals. We are happy to focus our business on Doodles as our only service companions!
We will, however, rescue dogs of all breeds and types and provide training for them to be placed as companion dogs for elderly and lonely folks.
Please watch for our announcement launching the Canine Support Connection, DBA Gabby Jack Ranch, Service Companions!
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
We started out with 2 female F1 Labradoodles, decided to breed them, bought a standard male Poodle...moved to larger yard...bought a Goldendoodle. Soon we had more doodles and had to move again! Now we have 26 acres, 10 adult dogs (6 Labradoodles, 1 Goldendoodle, 3 Poodles) and 9 Goldendoodle puppies! Yikes!
Yes, we do love Doodles!
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
My husband is severely allergic to most animals...but not to our dogs, thank goodness!
Well, we began our interest in Doodles because of health issues, but it was their quirky, funny, gentle, tender, absolutely charming personalities that got us hooked!
Not only are they the cutest darned dogs, but they are just the best companions ever!
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
Sleep...there is nothing like cuddling with a bed full of Doodles!
Does your doodle(s) shed?
A little bit but nothing major
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
I do and we have a variety of coat types!
Favorite Doodle Products?
Kong Squeaky Balls, 3 inch size.
Treats of all kinds (not the tainted chicken tenders!)
Canning rings. ;o)
Beds and blankets.
X-PENS!!!

Melamine now found in baby formula!

On other sites, when the toxic dog food was rearing its ugly head, I started warning about products from China, I opined that it was just a matter of time before we find out that ingredients from China are being found in foods for human babies and adults...the iceberg is beginning to be uncovered...I really wish that I'd been wrong...but I suspect that toxins will be found in many, many of our products. (Note the bottom of the article where it says that the FDA is looking into it and will make a… Continue

Breeders with Puppies available...

Hello everyone,

I am a breeder and I have some lovely puppies available and so I thought it might be a good idea for breeders and potential puppy buyers alike to have a place to announce available puppies or rehomes. Let's try to keep this blog alive! (I think that I will cross post this on the forums too.)

I am Jacque Reynolds from northern California. We have 14 week old F1B small standard, Goldendoodle pups...black, some with white markings...they are really lovely pups! Great coats and dev… Continue

Thanks for the nice complement! We think they are gorgeous! This is our first english cream litter and they are the most adorable litter! The lady just wrote me back and said she is applying for a dog with a Service dog provider here in Co called Freedom Service Dogs and they are accredited. I hope it works out for her! Happy Easter!

thanks Jacque! I just sent your website to her! I hope she contacts you, I'm sure that NARS would be wonderful service dogs! We had a golden lab cross once.....she was the best dog.....outside of doodles of course! LOL! I have a litter of f1 english cream gd's right now and even considered donating one to her. The problem was finding a training center that would take a donated gd for a specific person. Hard to find and I finally gave up. Then I thought of you on DK and thought I'd ask you about a service dog for her. Sure hope it works out, she had a really bad experience with a service dog trainer here in Co. She should get her money back, but I think they will fight her about it!

Hi Jacque! I recently had someone contact me about my puppies that was looking for a service dog and she wanted a Goldendoodle. This seems to be hard to find! Can you give me any info to help her find a Goldendoodle service dog for her son? Thanks, Pam

I admire the work you're doing, and I would be happy to volunteer. I can help with administrative tasks, and I have grant writing experience with a local non-profit focused on enhancing the lives of developmentally disabled adults. Let me know if I can help.

Thank you so much for searching until you found the info we were looking for! I really appreciate you taking the time to do that! This subject is very important to me as I believe in understanding what I am breeding to the best of my ability. It helped me a lot! Have a great weekend! Pam

Thank you Jacque for figuring out how to do the right search and for doing the searching! What you found, helped me a lot! Gentics are challenging to understand and very important to understand when breeding. I commented to my sister this morning that this is what makes doodles more challenging to breed. You really need more knowledge of genetics than the average breeder to breed doodles correctly. I love it! Doodles are the best! I really appreciate your comments and help!
