- About Me:
- I am g-ma to 12 grandchildren. I love my home and I love my goldendoodle, Sofie. She is 16 months old and although the sweetest dog I have ever owned, she definitely gets over excited when people come to our home. I definitely am not a dog trainer!
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- I have a female Goldendoodle - about 56 pounds worth! No other pets.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I have owned many dogs...the last one being a little "deva" called Annie...a Bichon! Need I say more...I was ready for a bigger dog. I had previously had a golden retriever, and knew they are nothing but love.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- My girl and I are together 24/7...pretty much. We do off leash occasionally but I have a fenced yard for her to play in. Being retired, I do travel and have a wonderful, local caregiver (Pooch Play) where she gets to play with friends.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I have a groomer come to my home. I like to keep her really short because of the rainy weather.

- In a Relationship
- Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.)

Welcome to Doodle Kisses Joan! Sofie is soooo cute and sounds like a lot of fun! I can relate to you Joan about the excitement when someone comes into the house. If our granddaughters walk through our door Libby just goes crazy with love! She adores our girls and there is no stopping her. Well actually I know there is, but like you I have not done such a good job in that department! You will love this site with all the information and great people. I have learned so much from DK!
