"I'm not sure how old the ORIGINAL research is, but here are some more recent sources. This from Iowa State in 2012. Giardia cysts can survive for long periods in the environment under cool, moist conditions. They are susceptible to desiccation…"

"Thank you! We never expected handsome when we decided to get a dog. Cute yes, but it's the word we use the most too. Must be the golden retriever in her that makes her shed. Gunnar's hair is straight and short like a lab with only a little…"

"What a transformation!  She is far more doodled-out  than I expected, even though her hair is more straight and shaggy. Our F1 is a lot less doodled out so far at 19 weeks.  He looks like a skinny lab with a beard. So much variation…"

"My son's puppy had no symptoms when he tested positive.  I wonder if that might be because it was caught earlier?  Or perhaps they just have a tougher digestive system? "

"Gunnar won't poop if I am within his 10 foot circle of privacy LOL  He will interrupt pooping if I get too close or tell him good boy before he is done.  He will pee a few feet away but pooping is his private time.. HAHA"

Gunnar - F1 yellow lab mother and caramel standard poodle father. Born 10/31/16

So far very Lab- like in appearance/fur. More of a slim long legged poodle build, sheds like crazy, super patient, great with the kids, rarely puppy bites, very trainable, only barks when he needs to go outside. Cute white paws and chest.

Tank -his litter mate/brother owned by in-laws, also lab like in fur and build, sheds more than Gunnar, biggest in his litter, huge feet.
