- Graham and Barb Ellison have downsized ourselves by retiring to our beach house in Diamond Beach NJ (near Wildwood and Cape May). We've upsized our fun factor by a million by getting a labradoodle!

- We have a Labradoodle named Seaweed! He was born 10/27/07. He's white, curly, fun, fun, fun.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Because they're awesome! and Fun.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Watch him run on the beach--chase birds; play with other dogs; fetch balls; rasslin'; being goofy; eating treats; watching TV--yes, Seaweed likes watching TV and goes nuts when he sees another dog. He runs to the TV and barks at it as if to say: come on in here and play!
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- We do--a pair of scissors and snip, snip...he's too curly to let it grow as it picks up everything. And he hates the heat.

I grew up in Cranford, NJ, went to high school there and lived there until moving to south jersey in the 90's, then in 2001, moved to Lancaster, PA. and running the family business. LOVE Wildwood, went there all the time, and Cape May! AND Belmar....ah, the teen memories!

Nancy, Ned, and Clancy said… - We spend all of this time choosing a name ( and Seaweed is sooo great - can you guess I am an ocean kind of person), but then we always seem to fall into nicknames - Ned's main one is Noodle. Seaweed is so unusual that I was curious what you came up with.
