Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. I have had intermittent internet problems for about 5 days. The cable company has been working in the area for two days and I finally got my connection and speed back today. Yeah! My time online was spent researching a new food for Chloe and getting advice from Karen. I finally made a choice and started the switch yesterday.

Anyway, I know I am a pain with all of my limitations or needs. But trying to get somewhere by 9:00 would not work for me due  to some medical issues. I had a serious bout of vertigo from my inner ear several months ago and the lingering effect is that I am still rather dizzy in the morning. I plan to get up really early that morning to accommodate this, but  10:00 would be soooo much better. If this time does not work for you or if you want to do this another time, I totally understand. Or would later in the afternoon work for both of you? Let me know what your plans are and what is okay for you and what is not. 

Hi! I am not sure what  day you are arriving, but would Tuesday the 2nd work for you? My second  choice would be Monday  the 1st. I have something scheduled on Wednesday. I'm getting excited,  and am very curious to see how Chloe does on a longer trip. I'm not sure if a restaurant  is good for her yet. She has a long way to go on her training! lol, especially in public. I wonder whose fault that is?

Hi Gina!  Yes, I would love to meet with you and Nancy in Arroyo Grande. That would make it all much easier for me. Thank you! I think the weather there is much cooler so maybe we could figure out somewhere dog friendly to have lunch and then go to the park. I can bring  both of my oxygen units so I will have enough time! I will try to keep track of the temps this next week. I know today it was 90 plus here and 67 in Arroyo Grande. I also looked up the dog park and it had good reviews! What day were you looking at? 

As usual, it was another busy day  and I just finished dinner at 9:00 and now had a chance to play computer catch up. I'm still learning how to navigate this site, being that it is the first one for me.  I just realized you were in the Art Cafe too! This will be fun to share our work and create a stimulating atmosphere for all the talented DK members. Linda did an on screen demo for me of how she does her work. I was so excited that I couldn't sleep that night. So today, I ordered the Bamboo Creative tablet, etc. I  am so inept on the computer, so I hope I can learn it!

Hi Gina, I am very pleased to get the invitation to meet up with all of you. I would really like to do it but am conflicted for several reasons. I wasn't sure how to respond and decided to be honest about it and let you know what my issues are first, and then take some more time to think about it. I haven't traveled very far  from home  for many years due to being on oxygen 24/7. I now have 2 portable oxygen concentrators to use so I can be gone for longer periods of time than previously. I also have not taken Chloe  on any long trips. Will you be based in Goleta? (I lived in a guest cottage in Goleta while  attending UCSB) or will you be in Solvang?. I was wondering if we could meet at some beach city  since I don't do well in heat. Would you be willing to meet someplace, maybe a dog park somewhere in between from where you are and I am? My other issue is that I can't yet trust Chloe off leash unless it is someplace fenced. We have yet to go to the beach for that reason!  She is my little ADHD dog and it is going to take many more years of training for her to be consistent on her recall. Anyway, let me know what you think. Since it seems like you travel a lot with your dogs, you probably know of the options that are available in the area.

Thank you Gina.  We'd love to meet at the Bark Park, but, I need to wait until she is a bit bigger.  We met a golden doodle today who wanted to play but, he was so big, Mackenzie hopped away from him.  Please put out messages periodically and we'll catch up with the group!

Thank you so much for the special Birthday wishes for Libby!  Between her Birthday and Easter this girl had a "big" day!  

Gina, those pictures of the romp are wonderful!  Everyone and all the Doodles looked like they were having a great, great time.  Looks like a very successful romp and a good turn out too!  Thanks for sharing all the pictures, I loved them:)
