- About Me:
- I live in Las Vegas with my husband, I work as a nurse for The High Risk Pregnancy Center and he is a computer programmer. Our house has 2 dogs and 1 cats. I love to travel, workout, cook, having family dinners and reality tv. I think our house is the only one in the Vegas Valley to have a swimming pool built specifically with Doodles in mind. We love to have summer swim parties for their friends.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- I have a black labradoodle girl named Malibu, who is absolutely adorable, smart and funny. Couldn't imagine life without her. On 05/06/2009 we adopted a goldendoodle from the shelter. She is named Willow. She is a Diva, very loveable, cuddly and loves to give kisses.She is a wonderful playmate for Malibu who is Miss Social Butterfly and can't play enough ball with anyone. Both are certified therapy dogs with TDI.
We have 2 cats named Abby and Major finish the lot of animals. Lots of playing and chasing between the cats and the doodles.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder, Shelter
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Did research on the type of dog that would fit into our house and the breed kept showing up. I wouldn't now have any other breed.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Taking them to the dog park, anything with her tennis balls, taking her to play with little kids, going swimming, hiking, socializing.

Pretty much everything! Chasing her 2 cats for fun, hiding tennis balls under couches and chairs. Did I mention tennis balls? LOL Malibu does Canine Therapy at different places. She goes to a hospital on Sundays and to anassisted living center. We Lost our Charlie

Dear Friends,
Tonight it saddens me to tell you about the loss of our dog Charlie, the party mix cocker spaniel we've had for 15 years.
We had to have Charlie euthanized. He was getting sickly with his congestive heart failure that was manageable, but then he wanted to go for a romp and was running and playing, so we took him to dad's, and there his back legs kept giving out, and he was losing his balance, and his legs would kick out suddenly behind him. Going down slides at the Park

Last night after I got home from work, my niece Becky and I took Malibu to our community park where we usually use the chuck it and throw tennis ball's for her. She is a little ball obsessed, (Mali, not Becky) so we changed things up and went to the kiddie area and tried to teach her to go down slides. Mind you this is 8:30 at night and a little dark. Thank you Eva!! Omgosh I would love to have days where I can sleep in till noon LOL! I still have many more years to go hahaha....
I am really excited that Ginger will get to meet some of her friends. She needs socialization with her own kind lol as she is great with people and kids.
I would love the groomer info because as you can tell from the pics I trimmed her myself so it isn't great lol but took about 4 inches off! Can't imagine having all that hair in this weather, she doesn't pant as often now but loves to play in the water to cool down since we have been without A/C for the past 2 days and can't wait for the technician to come today!
