Esther, I saw your post about prepackaged raw and wanted to let you know that I recently started giving my guys some prepackaged raw nuggets at night before bed.  I eventually want to feed them raw for dinner a couple nights a week or just feed the raw on the weekend (I haven't really decided yet).  I plan to stick with the kibble as our main food, but wanted to get some raw into their diet.  I saw that most people were really against the prepackaged, but I don't really want to handle all kinds of raw meat (I myself am not a big meat eater).  I would think that if you go with one of the brands that offers a "complete diet" rather than a raw grind that is to be used as "supplemental feeding" you should be ok.

Hi Esther,

Thank you for asking about the Les Poochs brushes. I viewed all of the adorable photos of Joey on your DK page and he appears to have a wavy fleece coat.

Generally the Green brush and the Purple brush is best for this type of coat. The medium-soft Green brush is used when the coat is shorter than 4-inches, and the firm Purple brush is used for the longer coat.

The brushes are available in two sizes (Regular and Wide).

The Regular size is recommended for doodles weighing less than 40-pounds and for brushing the narrow contours, ears, paws and tail.

The Wide size is appropriate for the larger doodles generally over 40-pounds.

We have the brushes available at the Doodle Country Store website.

Please Note: The wide-sized Green is temporarily sold out but can still be ordered and shipped when available. The regular-sized green is immediately available as well as the purple brushes.

Thank you so much, Esther.

If you have further questions please feel free to contact me directly at Kemp@doodlecountry.com

Happy Holidays,

Kemp
