anybody out there get their doodle at Doodlequest, in Kentucky?

South Florida Doodle Romp at Waterways Dog Park

- About Me:
- Beau and I live in South Florida. We adopted Lily from MDAS last year and she and Beau are wonderful together. We go frequently to the Dog Park and Beau and LIly are very social.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- F1B golden doodle.....Beau's daddy is 50% golden retriever and 50% poodle and his Mom is 100% toy poodle. And he is 100% adorable!
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- My friend Bill from Wisconsin got Beau's half sister, and when I saw her picture, I was impressed. The more I learned about goldendoodles and this specific breeder, I was convinced that this was the dog for me. When I saw Beau's puppy photo, I was a goner.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- snuggle, tickle his tummy, play catch, go to the dog park, and bathing him.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- me most of the time, and I am getting pretty good at it, with a neighbor's expert guidance.....Pet Palace and Ultimate Pet on special occasions
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Natural Touch shampoos, his slicker brush, rake, and metal comb with black rubber handle. I still swear by the Canidae kibble the breeder had him on.

He was not being nice to his new brother in his old home. I believe he weighs 23 lbs...and he is so cute. Made my kids look like giants!! I will see you at one

- Hi Ellen, I so wish I could go to the Romp, but I'm up to my ears with Doodles here...coming and going. I haven't heard back from Herb, he seems like a nice fellow. Frank is in a foster to adopt home here and is beginning to do well. He had some trouble with his younger brother at his original home. It looks to me as tho he will be adopted now that the behavior is under control (didn't take long!). He may even be at the romp. He was here for a bit on Sunday (with another beauty who has found a home also). Working on two more...arrrghh...right this second. Will look forward to a future romp tho when it Doodle'sless!!! Encourage Herb to respond, I might have another mini sneak into the mix.and be perfect for him..

I had the surgery on Thursday. They found three tumors, one fairly large and were able to remove two. The third was wrapped around the optical muscle and they left it in and will decide how to treat once they get the biopsy. Other then that no real pain. Thanks for asking. Stay well, see you and Beau soon. Lee
