I swear Hurley has been looking over my shoulder when I am on the doodle website. I say that because in the last few days I was reading about the doodle, who when in the car, barked at dogs out for a…Continue

Laurie, Fudge & Vern said… Thank you for the great Christmas card. Hurley is such a good looking Doodle. I love his coloring. Have a wonderful Holiday!
Diane your photos are beautiful!! And what a gorgeous doodle you have!!
Hi Diane - We have traveled all over Europe & Scandinavia on our bikes. Our first trip was a guided one in Loir Valley, France. We were with a big group and you had to wait for some and others were way ahead! So we decided to do the self-guided tours. They are wonderful - You use a company and they book all you reservations and take you luggage from place to place. All you have is a map and bad directions! They do give you a GPS now if you get into trouble. We have only called once in over a dozen trips because Carl's bike frame broke! It's like a scavenger hunt to find the next city! We use Discover France, Pure Adventures, Scanam and Irish Cycling Safari in the past and they have been great. The first one was Duvine Adventures, which is very expensive but sure got us hooked! Do a wine tour first (if you like wine!) very fun! If you want any info let me know - I keep up with it all and we are planning a trip to Holland soon!
Sheila & Finnley said… Hi Diane ~ I just wanted to say thanks for not thinking I was crazy with the possibility that maybe that tree could have a bear trying to climb it. Some folks got a little bit sarcastic about the idea. Obviously Jane didn't know what it was, and posted the pic for feedback. So it was nice to get a friendly "could be" opinion.
Hurley is beautiful ! I love his name too.
Hurley is a doll! We had a personal trainer come to the house in the beginning and it was ok. But I really wanted Remy & Roux to be with other dogs too. That didn't work out at thier other class either because they were the only ones!! Doggie day care occ. and the dog park have helped!
Sounds like you are very active - we are too. My husband and I were doing week long self guided tours on our bikes everywhere and I am a big yoga person - just got back from class! Namaste!
GBK said… Diane,
Hurley wouldn't be allowed to come to the nosework class, but you and your husband are welcome to check out the training.
All dogs are crated, no meet and greets. This is actually a sport that dogs that don't get along with other dogs can safely compete, learn and have fun.
GBK said… Diane, if you interested in meet ups and other fun stuff to do with Hurley, we have a LV group like Linda mentioned:

Would love to meet you and Hurley. If your free this Sat. early morning we are meeting at Bark Park for a little romp around 7:00am. Join us if you want :) I too am so glad you joined the photography group!
Gina, Buddy and Kona (GBK)
I LOVE your photos, by the way! I'm so happy you've joined the Photography group. :)
That would be fun. I really should socialize Toby more. He plays often with my daughter's Lab and Bull-Mastador, but I don't take him to the dog parks much. He's met some aggressive dogs that have made him wary of dogs he doesn't know. Have you met up with any of the other local doodle owners in the "Las Vegas Area Doodles" group? They get together quite often for romps at the parks, walks in the mountains, and even swim parties - lol! They are all very nice people - especially GBK (Gina). She and both of her doodles are sooo sweet.
