About Me:

I am a retired 62 yr. old. In looking for things to do in retirement I decided to get a puppy to hopefully train to be a therapy dog. I am hoping "I" can be taught to be a good trainer so my dog can succeed. I volunteer at my church. I have two sons and one grand daughter.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I have a 2nd gen. goldendoodle named Annie. She is sweet and a very BIG puppy. She doesnt shed or mat which is a plus. She did really well in puppy class and knows her commands when SHE chooses. She plays with my male cat and tries with my female.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I love the golden retriever and have had two in the past but wasn't crazy about more hair in the house. I wanted a dog with the temperment of the golden but less hair.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Introducing her to new things and getting her socialized with other animals. Walking out by a pond near us is fun and letting her go to doggie day care once or twice a week where she can have fun in a safe environment.
