- I'm a single 38 yr old woman with no kids, but a few fury kids :)
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- I have 2 very spoiled goldendoodles. Magnet was born 08-02-09 who is an F1 standard and she is such a clown. Mags is very playful, loves to make ppl laugh, and does a good job at it. Smudge is the baby of the family, she is an F2 standard who was born 05-31-2010, and is jet black. Smudge is a petite lil pup, but she has a heart of gold. She is a pretty low energy pup, she just wants to cuddle and be loved. I also have Lucy, she is a lab/border collie mix (i think) and she is my rescue from the shelter. Lucy is 9 yrs old, and has been a part of my family since she was 4 months old. She is a great dog, and a wonderful mommy to the doodle babies.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I had a lab/chow mix named Juggs, who was my baby. When Juggs was about 3 yrs old, I adopted Lucy so Juggs would have someone to play with. Well, as the yrs went on Juggs was slowing down more and more, and I knew she wouldn't be with me forever. Sure enough on 05-17-09 Juggs fell ill with a severe pancreatic attack, and diagnosed with a cancerous abdominal mass at 11 yrs old. The only option that was best for her, was to euthanize. My heart was broken. Over the yrs prior, I had started researching doodles. I loved everything I read about them. I was tired of all shedding, and I'm not real fond of little dogs, I love labs/and goldens, so that is what led me to check out doodles. I knew that when the time came, a doodle would be my next dog. After searching for 5 months after I lost Juggs, I found Magnet. Well, everything I read was right on, doodles ARE like potato chips, you can't have just one. 7 months after Magnet came into my family, here comes Smudge. She wasn't really planned at all, I just happen to see doodles for sale, I got to thinking maybe Magnet would like a puppy to play with, Lucy was 9 and not real playful. So, I called the breeder and that's all she wrote. We are now a 3 dog family :)
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- I do quite a bit of camping in the summer months and they love it. They enjoy swimming in the lake and playing with their tennis balls, or just going for a walk.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- A little bit but nothing major
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I do mostly, sometimes I use mypro groomer Laura

So the other day Smudge and I went to my sisters for a play date with her Daisy doodle. Now my sister usually comes here with Daisy for play dates, but Smudge and I went there instead because she needed help moving some furniture. So Daisy and Smudge were playing and running and having a blast when I looked over and on the bench by the window was her cat, Sassy just snoozing away. I am really starting to think that there really is such a thing as the "doodle fever". We laugh and tease about it in my family, and we now proudly have a total of 6 doodles in the family. I am beginning to wonder, is the fever real?? My first doodle, Magnet, who turned 2 on Aug 2nd, is the culprit who started this whole "fever" thing. Nancy, Ned, and Clancy said… In that picture, Magnet looks so much like our rescue Clancy. We think he is a goldendoodle. He sheds, and is really stocky - only 19" tall but weighs 64 pounds and is not fat. In looking at some of your other pictures, Magnet appears curlier.
