I am a busy lady. I homeschool my son in the mornings, and in the afternoon while he is with a tutor, I work at a sign company. (It's the family business.) I am usually hard at work with Autism Advocacy issues as well since that affects our family in a dramatic way. My son is my hero--having overcome many health problems and issues related to autism. He never gives up trying to be his best.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Does your doodle(s) shed?
Nope!
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
I am the groomer...only because someone quoted me 100.00 to do it!
Favorite Doodle Products?
Grooming Table (my poor back!), sheddies (antler sheds for chewing,) Best Shot Spray for tangles, Ruffwear products-(coats) and my Chris Christensen pin brush!
Your son is so handsome. And Blake is a HUGE doodle, isn't he? What a huge testament to these dogs and how lucky Blake is to have a job. He even looks proud in his doodle serviece vest. I know how busy you muct be!! I raised a deaf child w/ ADHD. She was and is my hero also. She never quits, even when I feel like it sometimes. We moved, shuffled careers, in order to get the schooling/medical attention our Lauren has needed over the years. She is now 24, has had 15 surgeries and too many trips to the ER to even talk about. She is attending college now in NY and is in her 6th year trying to get through a difficult engineering program. Her boyfriend is deaf and very smart and hasn't been able to find a job after college for 3 yrs. He teaches physics over the internet. I never had to home school, just tutor after school and after operations. I am now about to pick up my mini ALD next week. I always had labs and one special lab, although not a service dog, made sure my daughter never left the yard, wouldn't let her sled, too dangerous and NEVER jumped or rough housed w/ her (she wore equipment for hearing). She just KNEW that she needed to watch Lauren. So I am sure that Blake is so wonderful for your son. My other daughter became a veterinarian bc of our family's love of dogs, particularly labs. But I am older now and can't raise another lab, so that is why I decided on a mini doodle. They still have the lab noses. We also lived in NC for 5 yrs. for my husbands work. In Cary, near Raleigh. I loved the winters, but oh my, the summers!!! We're back in Illinois now, oh my the winters. All your hard work will really count, Mother. Bless you for fighting the good fight and the only fight that really matters. Helping our "special" kids become all that they can be. I hope that Blake gives you the comfort my Sunny and Sandy did while raising my precious girls.
I didn't get the link either. My pics are on THE DOODLE ZOO website. Kay sent me an email but there was no link for her pics on shutterfly. I just emailed her back to get it.

thank you so much for droppin in and introducing yourself to us. Your pup is sooo adorable and looks so much like Obi.
Obi was donated to us by his breeder in TN *www.goldens-n-doodles.com* and has been with us since he was 6 1/2 wks old. He is now 2 yrs old and everyday teaches us amazing things!~ He has been trained by myself and my 15 yr old daughter Destini. the TeamWork books have been our bible and he is learning everyday. He and Harli are the best of friends and she truly loves him. Harli has become more vocal, more independent and much more engaging in her environment since getting Obi. Harli has Angelman Syndrome (www.angelman.org).

Thanks for the reply! I'm really interested in Autism assist dogs and Autism service dogs. I will definitely take you up on your offer to answer more questions as I think of them!
