Happy First Birthday Hudson!

It's official tomorrow Hudson turns 1. I have to ask myself where did the time go? I remember his first day with us like it was yesterday. We were so excited waiting for his plane to land so we could finally meet him. I had read previous posts on here about the Tug-a-Jug, so I knew i didn't want the rope tug-a-jug. So I ordered the tug-a-jug from a online site that showed a picture of the rubber tug-a-jug (i think it is rubber). To my disappointment when i opened the box there was the rope tug-a-jug. Do I send the rope one back and keep searching for the rubber one? Which one holds up better, and where would i find a place that sells the rubber one? I took Hudson to the vet today because I had a feeling he had a ear infection, he does=( Anyway when I got there the parking lot was full. I got my daughter and Hudson out of the car and started for the office door. There was a man just coming out of the door holding a puppy ( I think ) and another dog on a leash. My family and I just got back from Mackinaw Island and we have 3 doodles but only 1 could go with us!! There was no room for any more with the kids and all our stuff. We choose to take the younger doodle with us, he has had all his shots so this was good for him to get out, and to see new things. To my surprise everyone kept coming up to us and asking if he was a labradoodle=) Yes they were right only 2 of them thought he was the kind of dog the President has. Hi all,
Just a update on Hudson I took him to the vet yesterday for his last set of shots yes now he can go everywhere with us=) He has not lost a tooth yet but he is almost 4 months old, so I'm thinking soon. He weighs 18.8 pounds and I can sure tell it when I pick him up lol!! Potty training well we are not their yet, he is going to the door sometimes and other then that I just take him out every half hour. He sure does love Murphy & Emmet and I'm so glad all 3 doodles are… Continue

Dot, Maggie and KoKo said… Hi Barb I haven't been on the board for a while and was happy to see that you were still here. If you remember me, I have KoKo who's mom is Emma. I wanted to ask if your doodle has any allergies. KoKo has developed some but we are still trying to figure out what she is allergic to. She continually develops yeast infections in her ears and has had to have them flushed three times already. She is now on prescription food so we can clear her system and then start her up on one food at a time til we figure out what it is. Have you had any problems with your doodles? I thought since they come from the same lineage perhaps I could find a clue. Other than the allergy KoKo is a sweet but mischievous dog. She is sleeping at my feet as I type this. Thanks Dot
