Then immediately give back the bone and repeat. I tried this on Seamus as per trainer and it helps a lot. Good luck!"

Aggression/Growling with Treats
Hi doodle friends! So I am worried about Murray's aggression when it comes to treats. He does live with another dog, a little maltese puppy who likes to challenge him for treats/bones. I understand the competitiveness there. Sometimes, he growls at ME though when I go to pet him or touch his bone when he is chewing.Any suggestions on how to stop this behavior sooner than later??Thanks!AshaSee More

- I'm a college counselor at Louisiana State University and enjoy jogging, yoga, and my new golden doodle puppy!
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- My goldendoodle's name is Murray and he is a little over three months old. He traveled all the way from Montana to me in Baton Rouge, LA. He lives with me and my roommate and my roommate's Maltese puppy, Rex. They have been getting along ok; still getting used to one another. Murray looks a lot like a golden and not much like a poodle, but he is the sweetest guy I've ever met; and so intelligent! I absolutely adore him.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I have always wanted a "big" dog, but have allergies to short haired dogs. I knew I wanted a furry/shaggy sort of pup, and when I saw goldendoodles, they appealed to me entirely.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Murray and I go on long walks (when he cooperates) and have mini training sessions. He loves to play with Rex, his Maltese roommate as well. Treats are his absolute favorite!

- A little bit but nothing major
