Profile Information

About Me:

I am a total doodle nut! So much so that I became a breeder. :o) I breed mini & standard Goldendoodle & Labradoodle puppies. Our dogs are all thoroughly health tested. Our puppies are raised in our home and are given the best possible start in life!

I am also a wife & mom. Our daughter, Alyssa is 12 and is my "mini me." She loves our doodles & is our puppy socializer. Our son, Aaron is 8 and loves our dogs, but is a bit more interested in baseball right now.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

Three goldendoodles, one golden retriever, one labradoodle, two cats (one is 14) and one rescued chihuahua. A couple of our dogs live in wonderful guardian homes near by.

NO, my house does NOT smell! :o) I work very hard keeping everything clean, so that we can reside with the dogs. It's not for everyone, but we love it!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Snuggle & cuddle on the couch. I know we're very bad, but I've resigned myself to the fact that the dogs outnumber us, so it's really their house. :o)

Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

I do! In all my spare time. :o)

Favorite Doodle Products?

Swiffer, Bounty paper towel, Interceptor, nail clippers and Thornit ear powder.

Too funny! Who remembers Dexter?

Dexter was born here but is my Aunt's dog. I've blogged about him a few times... (Pictures of his whole litter climbing on my little cousin and then a couple months later the mud mess in my kitchen.)

So, Dexter use to come here 3x's a week for doggie daycare. Now that he is a big boy he can be trusted home alone so stays home on the days my aunt works. Today she asked if he could come and play. It's been lots of fun to have him again!

Michigan Doodle Romp!

What a beautiful day, great people, good food, and wonderful doodles! We had 27 doodles and lots of people. Actually, 25 doodles, one Bernese Mountain Dog and one Golden Retriever! Three siblings came and they look almost identical! Several other DK-ers came and it was so fun to meet them!

Happy Birthday Lizzy!

Today is Lizzy's birthday! Do you know what that means?

It means, a special "pup-cake" which is a pancake with peanut butter and ham.

It means a special birthday song just for Lizzy!

It means a birthday gift made by Alyssa. (A bone filled with layers of cheese and bacon, then warmed up in the microwave.)

Another exciting day! This time it's not bad! :o)

This isn't exactly doodle related, but I think you'll enjoy it anyway....

Last spring we got three duckings. They were so much fun to watch grow!

Near the end of the summer the female started laying eggs, but she was too young for them to be fertilized. This spring she started laying eggs again but THIS time she sat on them!

I've been pregnant with babies and I've had puppies, but I've never been pregnant WITH a puppy. :o) Sorry, I just couldn't resist... Although when I was pregnant I dreamt that I gave birth to a litter of puppies. And this was before I was a breeder!

I agree with Tara, it was most likely the reflection. I'm not 100% sure but believe that all black dogs are born with black eyes.
