"I really like the Cowboy Magic stuff. Not greasy and smells nice. More like a silicone gel than a butter. It was $10.00 for a tube and is lasting quite awhile. Works great. But all the advise thus far is important too."

Mats on coat

Has anyone tried fur butter to rid thier doodle of mats. Our boy has some mats and I would like to get some help in trying to eliminate them. Any suggestions?

Dan, Judi, & Timbow said… - Good! Fur Butter is actually just a deep conditioner--like body butter for humans. The owner of the store that we buy Timbow's food from is the one that told me that they use it on the dogs they groom to get matts out. :-) You should join the doodle grooming group. There's a lot of information there. Hope you guys are having a great day!

- Thanks! It's called Fur Butter and is made by Happy Tails Spa. I think it's cheaper to buy on Amazon, but not by much.
