Is it okay if I post this picture on my page and a picture of your dog as well as they are siblings?  I've also posted new photos of two of Baloo's siblings Mougley & Daisy, along with pics of daddy Geeter (from 2011) that have been up a year.  It is fun to see their different marks and colors and cuts.  :)  ~S

Kona also started greying around a year and didn't stop until he was three. It comes from the poodle side from what I've read. Your Maggie is adorable.

I know that is uncanny!  Ellie (pictured) is from the same parents as Maggie is but from a previous litter.  She actually got quite big considering she is 1/4 Springer Spaniel and 3/4 St. Poodle.  Like Kona she was black as a puppy and her coat turned grey after she turned a year old.  I don't know if Maggie will turn grey but I'm kind of hoping she does, but I love her just same if she doesn't:)  When did Kona start greying?  She is precious BTW.  I hope all is well in California.

hi shar. Sorry for the delayed response. Ellie is actually Jill and jareds dog who also have jade. Maggie is in her puppy stage and full of life and almost 20 lbs. @ 3.5 months. How much does baloo weigh?

Oh my gosh! I can't wait to show everybody. Thanks for posting this. I know Jade's first litter only had 2 puppies, then the second one 11 (which Baloo is from), and then the last litter 11 again. They only did that last litter because my daughter and son-in-law wanted them to. Puppies are a LOT of work! And they always keep such good care of them. Baloo still looks black, but this must be why she has grays. I think Ellie is just darling! Has she been a good dog?
