San Francisco doodle romp at 8:30 AM this Saturday July 10th at Crissy Field. On the grass across from the parking lot of the Sports Basement. Let me know if you need directions. - Kooper

Renee and Cooper - Since you moderate comments, I cannot send a comment to you. It just gets returned. So I will let you know here. Glad you are home and chewing on a favorite bone, but too bad about that dead seal. At least it was not a stinky one!

Great meeting you both yesterday. I am now a friend, but cannot leave you a message because your comments are monitored. My husband is leaving on his bike trip tomorrow but we may come to the beach after he leaves. Are you going to be around next week?

We'll look for you on the beach near the 12th Ave parking section. We live near Pebble Beach GC, but always walk the entire beach

Cool! The beach is kind of long, so what section do you go to? There is the beach at the bottom of Ocean Ave., then the 8th Ave. entrance to the beach and the 12st Ave. Parking is easiest at the 12th Ave. entrance and there are lots of great rocks there since the summer storms. How about tomorrow at 4:00 at 12th Avenue? Or, if you are closer to Ocean, just let us know. Hope to meet you tomorrow.

Hi Lynda,
My mommy (Renee) and I are 2 blocks from the beach. She said she is taking me to Carmel beach every morning 8 AM and every afternoon 4 or 5 PM. Do either times work for you? We had a blast yesterday afternoon and this morning.

We live nearby and would be glad to meet you there anytime. We are usually on the beach on Sunday mornings, but I am retired and can be there any time. Just give me a day and a time.

Hi all! For those of you who go to Fort Funston you might be interested in joining this yahoo group, SFDog:

I joined about a year ago and there have been lots of helpful posts re: Fort Funston- car break-ins, aggressive dog warnings, dead seals on the beach, etc. Good things to know if you plan on going there.

Some of the posts aren’t FF related, so I recommend setting your “message delivery” as “daily digest”. That way you can skip over the random junk more easily. :)
