Comment by Barbara Lynch on June 9, 2013 at 4:30pm this is an article comparing the two treatments. different vets say different things, so it's very confusing. I've gone w revolution, so I hope I made the right decision.
Comment by Joan Bollaert on June 9, 2013 at 4:26pm I don't know anything about Revolution.
Comment by Barbara Lynch on June 9, 2013 at 4:19pm thanks, joan. I have just ordered revolution for both my doodle and my shih zhu. anybody use revolution??
Comment by Joan Bollaert on June 9, 2013 at 4:16pm I use Sentinel for my dogs and also Frontline. Have never had any problems with either.
Comment by Barbara Lynch on June 9, 2013 at 3:49pm "flea/heartworm protection?? I thought revolution sounded good, then vet said better for cats and recommended sentinel. thoughts??"
Comment by Mike and Mona B on May 31, 2013 at 12:51pm Ours gets stinky if she gets them wet inside. I was told by the vet it can be a common problem, and that it is crucial to pull the hair from the canal to allow it to dry. So I have the groomer do it when I take her in. She doesn't like it at all, but it has helped.
She might have a yeast or bacterial infection in her ears - my goldendoodle had several ear infections when he was puppy (eventually, we discovered it was due to an allergy to chicken). You should have her checked by the vet - especially if she is scratching them or batting at them with her front paws.
