Comment by Bonnie and Kona on May 8, 2011 at 11:37am: Kona is 4 years old and hard to photograph. Not only is it his dark coloring but he hates the camera! I've seen a post about other dogs that feel the way he does so I'm glad it's not just our big sweet boy. Owen is apricot/cream... He is 8 months and getting lighter. Kona started out pure black and is getting more and more silver, even at 4 years old. We got our dark guy first and never thought about keeping a lighter dog clean. oops. ;o) Both are F1 Goldendoodles and half brothers.

But - had I discovered the ease of keeping a black dood clean first - I may not have ever got a white one (but I love him dearly!! - especially when he's just had a bath) =)
