I have three Goldendoodles. They all bring so much joy to our hearts. Just looking into their eyes makes us smile. We adoped our last one  and she came from a puppy mill so we are told. She had such sad eyes  and was so scared of everything. It was like having a special needs child and watching them do something for the first time. She has done so well,she now comes to us and everyone that comes into our home.Her tail is wagging all the time and for the first time I think she is really happy .She loves us as much as we love her. We can't  imagine life with out Doodles. Please ADOPT help them all...

Daisy has brought nothing but Joy into DH and my lives. She makes us smile every day and neither of us can imagine life without her.

Daisy goes to work with me every day....she not only make me happy and calm she helps my fellow employes fill the same. My boss and his family all love her. Though he doesn't want a dog in the home he spends a lot of time with her at work. He says things like, I have one thing to do Daisy and I will be right with you. He proudly introduces her to clients and brags on her all of the time.

What a great choice we made looking for a doodle and Daisy was the perfect doodle for us!

We just adore Riley, yes he does love shoes and my underwear and he does get the zoomies every evening where he runs around the house like a mad thing for a while.  He also loves to roll in anything disgusting if he's free to run in the park. But he does what I tell him so when  I say drop it, he does and when I say no jump he doesn't and when I say wait he waits however long.  His tail is non stop wagging and he has never growled at anything. I can take a raw steak from his mouth and have done!  He loves absolutely everyone, especially elderly people and little children and is so gentle with them.  We are so lucky to have him in our family and he has added so much to both my partner and my life we can't even begin to quantify it.  We used to travel abroad a good bit now we couldn't contemplate a holiday without Riley coming with us, at least until he is at least a year old.

Tori-How could you stay away for a whole year?? I can hardly make it a few hours without checking to see what's up! Sad but true.

Celeste it sounds like she doesn't want to pick favorites so it's in the middle or she'll hurt doodle parents feelings! She sounds so sweet!

Monica-little Mango sounds like an awesome girl!! Tara went through a bit of a teenage rebellious period where she pretended to have forgotten all of her training!!  We worked through it though and I think that it has bonded us to each other even MORE!! You two keep up the good work!!

 

Celeste!! You definitely should be in this group!! LOL!! I love your description of "couch time" with Kahlua (love her name by the way!)  I'm glad that your DH has his priorities straight! :)

Hi!  Just joined DK and have spend most of the day on the website.  We love our Golden Doodle, Kahlua.  She has a mind of her own and expects us to live with it, which we do.  If we tell her to "come" on the couch, she will just look at us, then she'll wait a couple of minutes and proceed to "come" onto the couch, and it has to be between the two of us or else she won't do it.  When she does get up there she will sit her butt right beside my husband, lean back and settle her whole back side on him.  Then she'll look at me as if to say, "you can rub my belly now."  My husband is always says, it's all about you isn't it girl, just like your momma!

Mango has been the best puppy, ever. Sure she gets the zoomies and I think that something has completely taken over her! Every time everyone asks me how's the potty training/chewing/teething/feeding going I saw AWESOME! Because it is. People ask, "What has she chewed up so far?" I say ... nothing!! Potty trained in days? Check! Doing great with teething? Check! Doing great with training? Check! Doesn't bite? Check! She has nary a complaint. When we go to the vet everyone comes out from behind closed doors to see her. I hold her to get shots, get her poor rear end read for her temp, clip her nails, and brush her teeth. I get the "Momma, is it over yet?" look, but she's always so sweet. Sometimes, I forget that she is only four months and still such a baby because she's doing so well. I am thankful everyday for you Mango. I love that dog with all my heart. My boyfriend and I definitely hit the jackpot and somehow cashed in all of our good karma. Here's crossing my fingers for when she's 6 months!!! No wonder why everyone is so crazy about their doodles! They are such amazing dogs! I love reading about all of yours and how they get better with age!

Ginny, unless you have lived with a doodle you just don't get it!! They are quite possibly the most wonderful beings on earth!! Little Rio sounds so smart and he is an absolute doll!
