North Fl Doodles - JAX area
Hi Doodlers.
I'm in JAX, close to ATL BCH. ATL BCH is pet friendly and never crowded.
I am partial to the sunny,clear days, b/c I fight shoes and love flip flops,
but will go almost anytime. My beach buddy is my Beca who is about 2 1/2.
If you all need someone to be the organizer for some jaunts, I'd be glad to.

Forgot to mention, there's also a dog park off of Beach Blvd. in JAX beach (off Penman), back near the ball park.
However it is usually crowded, especially on weekends. But they usually have it divided for larger dogs/smaller dogs.

Hi; I'm in Jax also. My pup's are rescues Chloe and Howie. Beca is way cute, does the dog park in Atlantic have water as in a pond. We normally go to Davis park. Davis has a pond so every time after it's 2 in the tub. We are up to a change or a meet up.

Hi. Atlantic Beach is just the beach - not a dog park. Several beach entrances have showers/hoses and drinking water - 6th and 11th for sure. The whole beach becomes the playground. There is a leash law and Animal Control patrols occasionally. But, most of us dog people keep the leash nearby. Also, if you're down by the water and the dog is off leash, the Patrol does not bother you at all. Beca and I are usually down by the water playing catch, fetch and find fish. I have a new litter of pups right now (Isabella's) so usually only go out for short periods with Beca. Let's hope for warm weather and we'll make a play date. Where is Davis Park? Is that the large facility off Butler??? Gail

Hey Gail: Davis is on 210 near the High School by Noccatee. I don't know how well Chloe or Howie would listen at the beach off of the lead. We rescued 3 months ago. We'll be in touch as the weather gets warmer.

Just found you guys...I am on the westside and am really getting excited about taking Bailey to parks and the beach... So glad to hear that soem of the beaches allow dogs still. I know Hugenaut Park does not anymore because of "rule breakers"
wouldn't it be fun to organize a "doodle meet and great" here in Jacksonville?
