Comment by Amber and the doods on February 4, 2013 at 6:24pm: I know that is how all the doodle people explain it, but I can't figure out how that makes any sense. Why wouldn't an F2b be a second generation backbred to a poodle if an F1b is a first generation backbred to a poodle?

F1 x Poodle = F1b

F1 x F1b = F2b

Now I am expect a litter of doodle any day and this is what is happening here

F1 x F2b = Mulit-Generation

You can get F3 numerous ways, but it is easier to say Mulit-Generation. I keep very strick Records of my Dogs

80 Lbs at 15 Months. He is in line with his Brothers but his parents didn't weigh that much.

Honestly,we didn't know what we were doing when we got Marley. She was close to our house and 'on clearance'... Thank goodness for DK and all the advice/knowledge!
