Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
For owners of doodles in the East Bay Area (which I would consider to be Alameda and Contra Costa Counties). I would love to meet up with some fellow local doodle lovers!

Hi East Bay Doodle group, we are Judie and Baxter. We live in Concord and frequent Hap Magree's dog park in Alamo as well as Heather Park in Walnut Creek. Anyone wanting to meet up for a doodle…Continue

Hi
There are 2 very nice dog parks in Danville at Hap McGee park
that are fenced and have some trees---one for large dogs and one for small dogs up to about 30 lbs.
Marley and I go almost daily to the small dog park,
She is a 14 month old mini labradoodle about 26 lbs.
I'd love to hook up with some other doodles there.
Comment by Kerri B. & Zoey on September 1, 2012 at 10:17am Hi Willie (and mom). It's a little ways away, but Newhall Park in Concord has a terrific dog park with a trail around it. It's off Ygnacio Valley Rd. There is a small dog side for up to 30#s. Zoey is just under that, but she needs to RUN and its a little small for that. The good news is the big dog side is HUGE, so even though she is timid around the big dogs like Willie, there is plenty of space for her to do her own thing. The only downside is there is no shade, so take your sunscreen or go when it's cooler out. Good luck! Hope you find some other spots too maybe a little closer to home.
Comment by Judy Reinsberg on July 19, 2012 at 10:58am Hi doodle moms and dads...I am Willie (from Manor Lake Labradoodles up in WA) but we live in Moraga. I am almost 5 but my parents are a lot older!! I love to run, play, sniff and visit. I weigh 24 lbs. There is an open dog park in MOraga at Rancho Laguna Park, from 6-9 at night. I went once but there were some really big dogs and no fences and I got nervous, so I am looking for a safeplace to run. Sometimes my mom sneaks me over to the fields at St. Mary's. Any other ideas will be appreciated.

Comment by Jessica & "Rosie" on June 11, 2012 at 3:02pm Hi Carrie,
Welcome! I'm fairly new to this as well. My "Rosie" is a 12 week old medium goldendoodle. She LOVES to play. Let me know if you're in the eastbay area and we can set something up. By the way, my husband is also a attorney...and I'm an interior designer. I work from home, so my schedule is fairly flexible : )
Comment by Carrie and Bogart on June 10, 2012 at 9:39pm HI! My name is Carrie. I am new here. I will be welcoming home my new mini/medium Goldendoodle Bogart in a few days and I am pretty Doodle obsessed right now. I live in Antioch with my husband and four kids. I am a first grade teacher in Concord and my husband is an attorney in San Rafael. I am looking forward to meeting other Doodle owners in the area and eventually (once Bogart has all of his shots) getting out and romping with other Doodles.
Comment by Vicky & Jamaica on June 7, 2012 at 8:44pm Hi, Everyone! There are going to be some Doodle guests in town next weekend ~ Kate (& the "Y" Girls) from L.A. and Anne-Marie (Isha & Kala) from Canada. Those of you who post on The Doodle Zoo will know them, but if you don't you will enjoy meeting them.
We will be getting together at Crissy Field on Sunday, 17th June on the beach across from the showers at 10:00a.m., which has become the usual place. We will probably go some place Doodle-friendly afterwards for lunch.
We hope anyone and everyone will be able to join us!
Comment by Kim Roush on May 2, 2012 at 2:35pm Would anyone like to romp in Santa Clara/ Milpitas Area?
I have a sweet 5 month doodle.
Comment by Kerri B. & Zoey on March 3, 2012 at 9:13am I'm in Antioch and would love an East Bay romp. Having been trying to get out to Point Isabelle, but have not made it there yet. Here there is one tomorrow in the City (Crissy Field), but I work in SF and would prefer not to go all the way in on a weekend if I don't have to.
Zoey is a 9mo. old Goldendoodle who LOVES to run. We are still working with playing with other dogs...sometimes I think she likes to just run & sniff the bushes rather than interact with other dogs...LOL. But we are always looking for opportunities for socialization and what better way than with other Doods!
Comment by Annie Oak on February 21, 2012 at 9:05am We live in Pleasanton and Jax is a standard and loves to play. East Bay would be great! Jax is 85 lbs!
