Hershey will be two years old Feb 2013.  Her head is still chocolate but her back is much lighter.  She has a grandfather that is lavender, which is a very stunning color.  At what age does the chocolates stop changing colors?

Chewie is adorable!!! Hurley was a very dark chocolate at first but has gradually become a sun bleached auburn color.  We would have liked him to stay darker but he is a  pretty color now.  He is in that molting stage of loosing his puppy coat and what is underneath is a dark rich auburn. He attracts a lot of comments now because of his bleached reddish color.  It will be interesting to see what color his adult coat settles into.

What a handsome chocolate.  He still has his dark coat.  My girl was that dark in the beginning but is lightening up (either blonder or that ashy brown they seem to turn into?).  I was hoping she'd stay dark since mom was a chocolate lab and dad and dark brown poodle.  They all seem to have similar expressions.  She's now 1 yr 3 mths.

 Annie had all chocolate puppies! They are little "hershey" kisses!

Hi everyone! This is my boy, Chewie..a chocolate Australian Labradoodle. He's borned in Victoria, Australia, but currently living with me in Bangkok, Thailand. I think he's the only one of his kind here. So happy to find DK and this group :)

My Kona started out with bright green eyes, and they turned into hazel near the iris and amber on the outside.  Most photos taken further away just show up as amber.
