Cuz I like to share pics!  Here's Salvador, last Friday... just over 15 weeks old and 30 lbs!  It's ever so slight, but he's starting to brown around the muzzle a little too...  Also in the sunlight, he's got a slight red hue about him...

our pup is definately a lot greyer now...  i'll say peppery :)  her mouth is also getting a bit browner!

Oh!  I think my Salvador's gonna end up with the brown mustache too!  I was gone for a week and he stayed with my mom and when I got back he was roughly the size of a moose (15 weeks and 30 lbs!) and his muzzle was browning up a little!

Marnie, I'm noticing some 'GA Red Clay' color  (LOL) on Holmes' beard now too!!! Also LOTS of silver coming out. I still find him crazy cute, but a little sad his puppy look of all black is changing.

Amy, Stanlee really IS Brontë's secret relative, his beard....his LONG beard and moustache are a lovly shade of Georgia Red Clay (or as you call it, chocolate.)

It's a little close and the flash washed him out but you can see that red beard!

Lokelani is my first black dog and I'm finding it hard to photograph her, but I love seeing all the cute black doodles on here!

Thanks BettyAnn and Jill!  I call Salvador my little monster!  He is a bundle of energy...I've been in school for the first 4 weeks I've had him, and did not get to spend nearly as much time focused on him as I'd like, but this week so far, we've gone to Grandma's to play with her two dogs, went with the neighbors on a walk through the woods with their dog and deciding what to do tonight.  Tomorrow we're visiting a doggy day camp and a groomers, just to do a meet and greet thing.  He is a lot of fun, but has a lot of manners to learn!  lol!

Sarah: Salvadore is SO CUTE!!! He's 3 weeks younger than my puppy, Holmes. I took Holmes in for a puppy package at Petsmart and it didn't turn out too great or too bad- but they trimmed his muzzle and turns out he's all silver under there- different... still getting used to it! I love black doodles too.

Hey everyone!  This is Salvador!  He's 13 weeks on May 1st!  I'm enjoying him a lot and love that he's black!
