Anne, you don't have to be connected to the internet to use photoshop when you are using the cloud version. From what I understand, you just need to have your internet connected at least 1 time per month so they can confirm your subscription, other than that it's just on your computer as normal. If you didn't may for a month and the internet connection was unable to confirm, it would disable the photoshop on your computer. Does that make sense? 

Either way I am thinking I will not move to it... even when cs7 comes out. I am hoping I can resist the temptation of the awesome improvements it's promising...

I doubt that I will go to the Cloud for Photoshop any time soon.  I would be limited in when I could use it as my internet connection is sometimes very slow and sometimes non-existent.  It's a trade off for living in the country far from Verizon's tower.

So the one good thing about Photoshop on the Cloud....  You can use it from any computer.  My co worker is using it for a class, assignment was due in a few hours.  She was able to log on and use it from her work computer.

Oh what a pain! So sorry to hear this. I have the same camera purchased about the same time. If you were closer I'd happily loan you mine too. It's just gathering dust at the moment I'm so busy :( Hope they fix it quickly!

Thanks Jane.  I have never had a camera fail on me in my whole life.  So I guess there had to be a first time.

Oh Anne I'm so sorry about your camera.  That must be frustrating with a camera like that and only six months old....hope they fix it quickly.

DJ, Thanks for the nice thought. I will post when I find out what went wrong to cause the "err". I think the mirror was locking up on it's own. (I have never used mirror lock up.)
