Permalink Reply by Nancie & Gracie Doodle on September 7, 2012 at 9:00pm Just a thought...when we had cats they would get pimples and blackheads on their chins that would turn into scabs. We were told by our vet that it was caused by their food/water bowls. We used the plastic or rubber kind. We changed to the ceramic or metal type and it went away. The vet did have to scrape and clean their chins but after that it never came back. What are the chances you are using plastic???
Permalink Reply by Christine & Camus on September 7, 2012 at 9:20pm That was my thought as well. We also had a cat that had the same problem with plastic bowls and he did fine once I started using ceramic bowls.
Permalink Reply by Jane, Guinness and Murphy on September 8, 2012 at 5:03am I'd also suggest that you join the Food Group. There's lots of information including our recommended food list. As you'll see from prior discussions Royal Canin is not a good food for lots of reasons. I hope you're able to get to the bottom of this.
