I never knew DK had an abbreviated version for mobile phones and slow connections. I just happened to run accross an old post by Adina in reference to this. Since I now have internet access on my phone, although I need much smaller fingers : ), this may be helpful to me and I'd guess to other as well Here's what Adina wrote:

Yes, and was helpful when my computer crashed.... this abbr. version is what pops up on my phone, but I can also access the full text version if I want to from the abbreviated version. The link is at the very,very bottom of the abb page, below the created by.....in the orange section.

I know, I've seen that and I couldn't imagine how you could stand to since the regular version was such a chore on my phone. I will have to try the mini version.

Ah, the trick is to get high tech eyes. I had cataract surgery this year and now I feel like my eyes have rewound the clock over twenty years. Truly one of medicine's miracles.
