Are you picking in person? or from photos? When you say classic doodle look, what does that mean to you? To some it is sort of wavey and shaggy. To others it is more curly. It just depends on what you are looking for. You breeder, if a reputable, experienced breeder should be able to steer you in the right direction of the puppy that will most fit your needs and wants. If you just choose from looks, the puppies change so much even in the 2 weeks from 6-8 weeks. If you are choosing in person, most people say the puppy chooses you. That there will just be one that seems to be right!
The one in your picture will have a curlier coat--big waves means a wavy fleece, which is what some people think of as a classic doodle...but they do change a lot--if you are meeting the pups in person, feel their coats and the silkier, the better. But you will need to get them groomed often if they are silky--the coarser coats may shed more but also shed dirt and dust and mat less. Here is an example of a wavy fleece pup that will have a classic doodle look--7 weeks old.
and this one has a straighter, coarser coat that will have very loose waves and a "feathery" look--
and all from the same litter!
