We start accepting photo submissions for our 2012 Doodle Calendars in September.  Although that's at least 2 months away I wanted to get everyone ready and I want you to know what to expect.  Here is where you can read about the type of photos we'll be looking for: http://www.doodlekisses.com/page/calendar-photo-requirements

Adina, I am a terrible photographer, so I have to ask. Does bribery work in any way???
Come join the Photography Group, then you won't need bribery: ) Besides, having seen lots of your pictures I know this is a hustle, you probably are related to Ansel Adams.
Sadly, F, I am a member and still not much of a photographer :) Some of those pictures, my daughter takes for me and she really is a photographer.
F, I tried to find the discussion from the end of last year where we all discussed the calendars and my choices in retrospect...but I couldn't find it.  I wanted to link to it in this discussion so people can get more tips.  Is it gone or just unfindable by me?
Well...babysitting could go a loooong way :)  I also still have some things on my baby registry ;)  JUST KIDDING!!!    But you could bribe me with a fabulous photo of Fudge or Vern or both :)
Adina, As long as I don't have to supply references (and you do not talk to my two daughters) I would love to babysit...haha!! I am determined this year, so I better get practicing!!
The more you take, the more likely there will be a GOOD one in the bunch!

Adina,

I had just got Rua right before the Calendar photo submission ended last year so, I didn't have a chance to submit one.  I am going to start working on it now.  I love a picture of Rua that would be a great December picture, but it is from a photographer.  Can you provide me with the details of where the proceeds from the purchases off of Cafe Press goes so he knows individuals are not profiting from this?

Thanks!

Doodle Kisses makes a profit.  Doodle Kisses also donates 25% of proceeds to doodle and dog rescue: mainly DRC, IDOG, and a local all-breed rescue.  (Of course with calendars and other stuff sold via CafePress...CafePress makes the most profit.)
Time to get busy...last year I waited until the week before they were due.
Welllll it didn't hurt you too bad last year.  It's only too late if it's past the deadline (yet to be determined).
Thanks for the heads up-this will be tough! If my doodles are outside they are usually eating something so all you see is there rumps so we'll try!
