Dishwash Duty a.k.a. Prewash
Heidi Vernetti's Blog Post "Puppy Photo of the Week" got me to thinking - how many doodles do a prewash. Haley is 3.5+ years old and still prewashes. He is so meticulous at this job of his. Does your doodle prewash?

Haley is gorgeous AND handy in the kitchen! Good dog, good dog.... Trav loves to prewash and does a most excellent job of it. :)

Roo and Tigger do an excellent pre-wash on most dishes - glasses are tough.
This reminds me of an old joke. A son was visiting his father. The two had not seen each other in a long time. It seemed to the son that his father was living very sparely. When the son was setting the table the dishes seemed a little streaky. Wondering if his dad's eyesight was failing he asked, "Dad, your dishes seem a little streaky, and sticky, maybe you need new glasses?"
His dad replied "Well I don't know son, the dishes are as clean as Coldwater can get them?" Just then a large black dog wandered into the house and his dad said "Come here Coldwater, I want you to meet my son.

LOVE the expression on Haley's face in the first photo!! No pre-washing at our house - mostly because we try to limit the amount of people food Sedona gets. She gets more than enough on the days we have our 22-month old granddaughter at our house. Kayla is a very generous sharer!!

JD is not allowed to prewash for health reasons, but my last dog did. I made it easier for her by placing the dishes on the floor for her prior to putting them in the dishwasher.
Hey, it's only right that the doodles do their part for the environment, right? Less water use is good for everyone!
